Family Recovery Program

State wide case management support for culturally and linguistically diverse families impacted by COVID-19.

Do you know a family or person that needs support?

Some culturally and linguistically diverse communities were disproportionately affected by COVID-19. The Victorian Government created the Family Recovery Program, delivered by cohealth, to help families and individuals overcome COVID-19 related interruptions to employment, education, and mental health.

What is involved?

cohealth will provide coordinated, culturally responsive case management support to families and individuals for up to a 3-month period.

A case manager will work with the whole family to:

  • understand the needs of all family members
  • develop goals
  • identify required supports
  • develop a recovery plan

This plan is monitored and reviewed with the family or individual to ensure their support needs are met and goals are achieved. The case manager will work with existing workers and introduce new services where needed.

Who is eligible?

The program is for culturally and linguistically diverse families and individuals living in Victoria who have experienced disruption or been adversely impacted by COVID-19. This may include people who have:

  • had a positive COVID-19 diagnosis
  • been close contacts (primary or secondary)
  • had to isolate or quarantine.

There are no visa or residency status requirements to access this program

What does it cost?

Free. There is no cost for this program.

How can I make a referral?
