Health literacy

Health literacy is about being able to understand information about health, and how you can use that information in your own life to maintain your own health and wellbeing. Low levels of health literacy contribute to poorer health outcomes for people.

cohealth health literacy programs include:

  • delivering the Health Literacy Development Course in partnership with HealthWest and Centre for Culture, Ethnicity and Health to assist health literacy.
