Walkie talkies drop in sessions

Drop in information sessions for children aged 18 months - 6 years

There is help on hand for any questions or concerns about your baby or child’s health or development.

cohealth’s Walkie Talkies drop in sessions for children 18 months – 6 years old offers a forum for you and your child and other families to sit with our Children’s Services Team to discuss:

  • Talking and listening skills
  • General learning and thinking skills
  • Concentration and attention
  • Play skills
  • Mealtimes
  • Behaviour

Walkie Talkies is supported by a variety of health professionals and may include an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, podiatrist, speech pathologist, counselor, pre-school field officer and maternal child health nurse.

Walkie Talkies sessions are run in Avondale Heights and North Melbourne.

What do I need to do?
Walkie Talkies is for families living in City of Melbourne and City of Moonee Valley who are not eligible or accessing Early Childhood Intervention services.

As this is a drop in service – no appointment is necessary. Come and talk to us.

What will it cost me?
Free for Health Care Card holders and a $10 fee for everyone else.
