Food is a huge part of our everyday life to help you feel great, perform at your best, manage disease and sometimes some guidance is important.

cohealth dietitians work with people to help them reach their goals and also runs group education programs.

We provide education and information for individuals on issues related (but not restricted) to:

  • Being overweight or underweight
  • Malnutrition
  • Introduction to solids
  • Food allergies
  • Diabetes
  • High cholesterol
  • Healthy eating
  • Gastrointestinal conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Heart disease
  • Improving food preparation to help chewing and swallowing
  • Food insecurity

Group education programs include:

  • Living well with Diabetes
  • Supermarket tours
  • Cooking programs
  • Healthy lifestyle support

What do I need to do?
Everyone in the community is welcome to make an appointment with cohealth dietitians.

Access by referral from health professional or contact us directly.

Homeless clients can drop in to clinics at Fitzroy and Central City.

What will it cost me?
A fee may be payable for this service. Go to our fees page for more information.

Service is provided free of charge for homeless/outreach services from cohealth Central City, Fitzroy and Nicholson Street sites.
