West Melbourne Respiratory Clinic

The cohealth West Melbourne Respiratory Clinic is part of the Australian Government’s response to COVID-19.

We are a bulk-billing service set up to assess, test and diagnose acute mild-to-moderate respiratory conditions, including but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder and bronchitis.

We also see COVID-19 positive patients who are unable to be seen by their regular GP for general GP consultations.

Who is the clinic for?

Any person who has respiratory symptoms and cannot go to their usual GP. We will see children and adults.

Urgent and deteriorating patients should be referred directly to the Emergency Department.

How can we help you and your patients?

  • complete face to face assessments
  • order pathology and radiology, and send results to client’s usual GP
  • provide influenza and pneumococcal vaccinations
  • provide scripts

We also wear personal protective equipment (PPE) so you don’t have to!

All clients will be referred back to their usual GP for management of ongoing conditions.

We are here to see clients who have newly acquired respiratory symptoms or exacerbation of previous respiratory symptoms – in the interim.
