$4 per day increase to Jobseeker won't even cover a prescription

Repeal of public drunkenness laws recognises that highly intoxicated people need care, not a police cell

A free and practical tool for newsrooms to help access a broad range of multicultural contacts and perspectives

The Victorian Multicultural Directory for Newsrooms, officially launches today, providing a resource to newsrooms grappling with contact books that often don’t reflect Australia’s population. Given our increasingly culturally and linguistically diverse society, the online talent directory will assist journalists in connecting with individuals for stories they are covering across a range of issues and topics.

Budget ‘with heart’ will improve health and wellbeing for Victorians by addressing drivers of disadvantage
