cohealth Bourke Street
From July 2024, cohealth will offer primary care and AOD services from The Salvation Army’s Bourke St site, along with expanded street-based outreach teams of health workers and transport services to support people to reach a safe place.
This will include access to:
- GPs and mental health services
- nurses and harm reduction workers
- allied health services
- addiction medicine specialists
- expanded drug treatment
The Salvation Army’s Bourke St site will not include a supervised injecting service.
cohealth Flinders Street
Additionally, cohealth will establish a new community health hub at 244 Flinders St and Victoria’s first hydromorphone treatment service, commencing operations in 2026.
The new Flinders Street community health hub will be a one-stop shop, offering a range of free and low-cost health services, including GPs, allied health, counselling, addiction medicine specialists, nurses and harm reduction workers and other wraparound services.
