MyMedicare is coming

cohealth is participating in the new MyMedicare initiative, which from 1 October, allows people throughout Australia to choose their preferred medical practice to get more Medicare benefits (free or low cost bulk billing doctors).

We know that having a regular doctor is good for your health and wellbeing, so that’s why cohealth have registered as a MyMedicare practice.

By joining MyMedicare, your usual doctor will:

• have a better understanding of your personal history and health needs.
• be able to give you more time needed for your appointment, including telephone calls.
• be able make better decisions with more information, including tailoring services and contacting other providers who care for you like hospitals or specialists.

Please come back to this page from 1 October when we will have more information about MyMedicare and how you can choose cohealth as your provider (doctor) for MyMedicare.
