On Tuesday 30 November there was an incident at our Collingwood COVID-19 testing facility, 365 Hoddle Street, where one of our team members was struck and injured by a vehicle.

The team member is doing well, and our thoughts are with them and their loved ones. We are doing everything we can to support them and our staff at this time. We would like to thank the community for reaching out to us at this time. We value and thank you for your ongoing support.

The wellbeing of all our community members is important to us, and we know that witnessing an incident like this is distressing. We are offering debriefing to anyone who witnessed the incident and would like support.

If you would like support or debriefing after this incident and haven’t been contacted by cohealth, please get in touch at feedback@cohealth.org.au.

In light of the incident, we made the decision to close our COVID-19 testing site at 365 Hoddle Street on Wednesday the 1st of December but it is now open for business again providing testing services.

For more information about this incident from cohealth Chief Executive Nicole Bartholomeusz, please see our media release.

This is a deeply distressing incident for us all, and we encourage you to take care and reach out for support if you need it.
