In partnership with the Victorian Government, a new Community Health Hub (Hub) at 244 Flinders Street will support Victorians experiencing complex health and social challenges, including substance use, who face barriers in accessing mainstream services.

Operated by cohealth, the Hub will connect people in Melbourne’s CBD to health care and practical help when it opens by the end of 2026. Dedicated professionals will provide care coordination, drop-in access, alcohol and other drug services, counselling and outreach.

Evidence shows that health-based services like the Hub can reduce drug harms by connecting people with the right treatment and support.

cohealth has a long history of supporting people with complex health needs, including delivering specialised alcohol and other drug services in the community. We provide compassionate, non-judgemental and culturally safe care, connecting people to health and social support they need.

The Hub is being established as part of the Victorian Government’s Statewide Action Plan to save lives, reduce drug harms, and give more people the care they need in the CBD and across Victoria.

We are committed to working closely with the CBD community to provide increased access to health care in the heart of the city.

We will continue to provide updates as the Community Health Hub progresses.
