Dr Georgina Whiting

Georgina is an experienced GP with an interest in women’s health, antenatal care, paediatrics, sexual and reproductive health, refugee health and Indigenous health.

She has spent time working in isolated Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory and was the recipient of a Churchill Fellowship, which enabled her to investigate how to provide specialised care to homeless women and their families.

Georgina is an obstetrics shared care provider with the Royal Women’s, Mercy, Box Hill and Monash hospitals.

Georgina has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide, Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Master of Public Health.

Georgina is currently on maternity leave.
