Kate has more than 20 years’ experience as a GP. She specialises in women’s health, mental health and wellbeing, antenatal care, refugee health and chronic disease management.
Kate performs minor procedures and provides shared antenatal care, medication-assisted treatment for opioid dependency, high dose vitamin D and Implanon insertion and removal.
She enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and their families, and connecting with a broad range of people, especially the diverse immigrant communities in the west of Melbourne.
Kate is an honorary research fellow at the University of Melbourne and Chair of the refugee health specific interest group (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners). She has a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Outside of the clinic, Kate plays the viola in lots of chamber groups. She has walked all the way to Canberra with her husband.
