Lester is a Melbourne-based doctor with special interests in sexual and reproductive health, refugee health, diabetes, chronic disease management and infectious diseases.
He qualified in the United Kingdom in 2003 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sheffield.
As a general practitioner in refugee health, he provides primary care to some of society’s most vulnerable people. He enjoys working with families from other cultures, and providing continuous and ongoing support especially for people with multiple diseases.
Lester is accredited to provide medication-assisted treatment for opioid dependency, high dose vitamin D, iron infusions, hepatitis B s100, fibroscans and medical termination of pregnancy.
He has a Master of Public Health and is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Outside of work, Lester plays the flute and enjoys gardening.
Lester is available for consultations on Wednesdays and Fridays at the Laverton clinic.
