Dr Marnie Buckwell

Marnie is an experienced GP who qualified in 1996 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Melbourne.

Marnie has a Liverpool Diploma in Tropical Medicine and previously spent a year working in a hospital in Ghana. She holds Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and speaks a little Spanish.

For Marnie, the most rewarding thing about general practice is providing continuity of care and the way relationships, rapport and trust build over the years. She enjoys working with her wonderful community health team and is inspired by the resilience of her clients.

Outside of work, Marnie loves belly dancing, salsa and West African dance styles.

Availability 

Marnie is available for consultations on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Kensington clinic.
