Samantha is an experienced GP with more than 17 years in general practice. She qualified in 1996 from the University of Adelaide.
Samantha has interests in women’s health, antenatal care, chronic disease management, mental health and wellbeing, and the management of drug and alcohol dependence. She is accredited to provide shared antenatal care, medication-assisted treatment for opioid dependency, high dose vitamin D, shared clozapine care, and Implanon insertion/removal.
Samantha has a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Diploma from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She has previously been a supervisor for GP registrars.
Being a GP offers Samantha a broad variety of work. She enjoys building long-term therapeutic relationships with individuals and families; assisting people to make positive lifestyle changes; and helping people to improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, Samantha enjoys exercise, the great outdoors, travel, art and photography. She has two children.
Availability
Samantha is available for consultations on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Fitzroy clinic and on Thursdays at the Innerspace clinic.
