Sophie is an experienced GP who qualified in 1986 in the UK at Newcastle University. She has been in practice for 25 years and has a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Sophie specialises in women’s health, mental health and wellbeing, antenatal care, sexual and reproductive health, and drug and alcohol management. She is accredited to provide shared antenatal care, medication-assisted treatment for opioid dependency, high dose vitamin D, iron infusions, IUD insertions and medical terminations.
Sophie enjoys the privilege of providing continuation of care with a holistic approach and working with all members of our community.
Sophie moved with her family from the UK in 2008. She loves the outdoors life – swimming, bushwalking and cycling – along with the buzz of Melbourne’s live music, theatre and cafe scene.
Availability:
Sophie is available for consultations on Mondays and Thursdays at the Fitzroy clinic and Saturdays at the Collingwood clinic.
