Hangama is a member of the Afghan community in Melbourne.

She has a Master of Health Science (Public Health) and experience working in the areas of health, community development/engagement and project management.

Hangama is a member of the Whittlesea Community Connections Women’s Advisory Group and is a Community Engagement Officer with the Brotherhood of St Laurence. She has also worked as a project assistant with AMES Australia.

Through her work as a bicultural worker, she enjoys supporting communities with different backgrounds.

Outside of work, she loves reading poetry.
