The Diabetes Education service supports you to gain the knowledge you need to manage your diabetes properly. We work with people who are at risk of developing diabetes or who have pre-diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, and Type 1 Diabetes as well as the family and carers of people with diabetes.

- treatment approaches
- looking after your emotional health
- other general health issues surrounding diabetes.
Topics covered in diabetes education
We help people with diabetes and their carers to better understand how to manage their diabetes and stay healthy by talking about:
- healthy eating
- staying active
- managing blood sugar
- diabetes and mental health
Diabetes support in different languages
We also run a series of Diabetes Support groups once a month in the following languages:
- Mandarin (1st Wednesday of every month)
- Vietnamese (2nd Thursday of every month)
