Essendon Adult Day Centre is for socially isolated people, including the elderly, people with dementia or disabilities. It helps people to connect with others in the community, make new friends and pursue hobbies and interests.
Essendon Adult Day Centre runs a range of activities regularly to increase the physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing of our clients. We develop a calendar of activities each month based on what’s happening in the wider. Morning tea and lunch are provided each day.
We also work with carers and case managers to offer assessment and referral to cohealth services where applicable.
Transport options are available to and from the centre for those living within the Moonee Valley Local Government Area. People living outside the Moonee Valley area are still welcome to attend.
