cohealth’s GP Respiratory Clinic for children is open during the evenings and on weekends to give families easy access to medical care after typical work hours.  

You can make an appointment at our other GP Respiratory Clinics if you need to see a doctor during normal business hours.  

Service details

cohealth GP Respiratory Clinics can help you if: 

  • your child is experiencing a mild to moderate respiratory issue like asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, the flu, shortness of breath or an ear infection. 
  • your child is experiencing mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms like a fever, sore throat, blocked nose, coughing, a headache or diarrhoea and vomiting. 
  • your child has been told that you need a COVID-19 test.
  • you or your child are COVID-19 positive or have COVID-19 symptoms and you cannot see your regular GP in person. You don’t need to wait for a negative test result before you come to the clinic. 

If you are also unwell, you can get treatment at the same time as your child.

Fees & eligibility

Children aged under 18 years and their families can access a GP Respiratory Clinic if they are experiencing respiratory symptoms. Respiratory symptoms are symptoms that make it difficult to breathe.  

Walk ins are welcome but it is preferable to make an appointment. Call 0486 008 315 to make an appointment to see a GP face to face or over telehealth. 

Appointments at the clinic are free, even if you don’t have a Medicare card.
