The Refugee Pregnancy Clinic is a midwife-led clinic providing pregnancy care and support to women and people from refugee backgrounds and those seeking asylum. This is a free program (no cost).

Service details

  • Pregnancy testing and counselling.
  • First antenatal consultation and referral to public hospital maternity service, including ordering of antenatal pathology, ultrasound imaging and other relevant testing.
  • Ongoing antenatal shared-care for eligible people booked into The Women’s Hospital and Joan Kirner Women’s & Children’s Hospital
  • Secondary consultation for community and health organisations working with people from refugee backgrounds.

A referral is required for this service.
