cohealth provides free or low cost clinical sexual and reproductive health services.

Service details

Our team of general practitioners, sexual and reproductive health nurses and a sexual health physician can support you with:

  • Contraceptive advice: We can help you find the best method to prevent pregnancy that suits your body and lifestyle.
  • Implanon and IUD: We can insert or remove long-acting contraceptives such as Implanon NXT (a small rod in your arm) or IUDs (a small device placed in your uterus).
  • Support with pregnancy choices: If you’re pregnant and unsure what to do, we’ll talk you through your options and support you in making the choice that’s right for you.
  • Medical abortion: A safe, medicine-based way to end an early pregnancy, with care and guidance throughout the process.
  • STI checks, treatment and prevention: Get tested and treated, learn about sexually transmitted infections and how to prevent them. No judgment, just care.
  • Cervical screening (previously called Pap smears): A simple test to check the health of your cervix and help prevent cervical cancer. This includes the self-collected test option
  • Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS): A common condition where a hormone imbalance causes problems like irregular periods, acne, or weight gain.
  • Endometriosis: This is when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of it, causing pain and sometimes fertility issues.
  • Menopause: This is when a periods stop permanently, usually in midlife, because the body makes less reproductive hormones.
