cohealth social workers help individuals, families, and communities. They are here to help you solve problems and provide you with support. They are trained to help in situations where you might be experiencing hardship, practical worries, family problems, or having difficulty accessing service systems.

Our social work service only accepts referrals for people within the Cities of Maribyrnong, Melbourne, Moonee Valley and Yarra.

Social workers can support you when life gets tough and you need some extra help.

Our social workers can support you and your family to help manage issues and difficulties in your life, connect with other services, and improve your wellbeing. They can provide casework support and referrals.

You can talk to our social workers about:

• Practical issues –eg. housing application issues, utility relief grants, assistance with paperwork
• Centrelink issues, including DSP-related issues
• Information and referrals
• Elder abuse & neglect
• Knowing your rights and being able to exercise them
• Navigating health and welfare systems
