Podiatry supports the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions of the feet, ankles and lower limbs. We assess your feet to treat a range of issues which may be affecting your overall health and wellbeing.

Service details

Our qualified podiatrists will undertake an assessment to understand the best course of treatment for your feet. They are experienced in biomechanical problems, chronic injuries and conditions affecting the nails and skin.

Assessment and treatment

We assess your feet to treat a range of issues:

  • Injuries
  • Diabetes and lower limb complications
  • Biomechanical issues leading to pain
  • General mobility and foot health
  • Children’s foot and low leg problems
  • Vascular (circulation) problems
  • Neurological (nerves) problems
  • Skin and nail problems

We use a range of different treatments to support better foot health, including:

  • Care for skin and nail disorders
  • Wound care and management
  • Orthotics (insoles)
  • Exercise advice
  • Nail surgery
  • Padding, strapping and taping
  • Dry needling
  • Advice about self-care, footwear or physical activity

Fees & eligibility

This service is available for all people under the age of 65 years, or under 50 years and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.

If you are under the age of 65, or under 50 years and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, call to request an appointment or use the online request appointment form on this page.

There may be a wait time to get an appointment.

If you are over the age of 65, or over 50 years and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, you can access a cohealth podiatry through My Aged Care or by contacting 1800 200 422 and ask for cohealth podiatry.
