Janoak is a mental health residential rehabilitation service. We provide long term accommodation as well as a range of supports to ensure that our residents have the best outcomes.
Our accommodation supports people with significant mental health challenges. This could include people who:
Residents are supported in their personal care needs and participate in a recovery-oriented program. Staff collaborate with residents to develop a care plan, support daily living skills, set goals, and pursue a meaningful life of their choosing.
Adults who are experiencing significant mental health challenges and who need long term (no time limit) 24-hour supported accommodation can be referred to our service.
Adults with mental health challenges who need 24-hour support with their daily living skill can also be referred.
The service does not provide nursing care. Residents need to be mobile and independent with personal hygiene and dressing.
As this is a long-term residential facility vacancies do not arise often. When they do, we let local mental health providers know. Referrals are assessed and managed by Janoak.
GP’s and health professionals can refer a client by calling the in-take service on 1300 379 462.
