cohealth kangaroos

Access to a team sport for people who find it difficult to access mainstream sports clubs

Improve mental and physical health and wellbeing by joining in and being part of the teams at cohealth Kangaroos.

Getting on board with the cohealth Kangaroos – our sports and recreation program which includes a winter Aussie Rules team in the Reclink league and a summer cricket team with a Twenty20 competition in the lead up to year’s end is lots of fun.

The Kangaroos aim to provide access to team sports for people who find it difficult to access mainstream sports clubs.

We actively encourage health and wellbeing through social inclusiveness and physical activity as well as developing teamwork and leadership skills. Participation develops a sense of belonging, self-worth and community connection.

cohealth is also able to link participants in to other health and support services, building the community and connection within the teams.

What do I need to do?
Anyone over 16 years of age and interested in getting involved can call James Rose on 0422 277 454.
