Refugee Week provides an opportunity for the Australian public to recognise and better understand the courage and contribution of refugees and people seeking asylum.

To celebrate Refugee Week 2018, cohealth is proud to support the Tibetan community of Melbourne with a free community event presented by Tibetan refugees.

We invite you to join us in a celebration of their resilience, community spirit and unique culture; and to illuminate the plight of Tibetan refugees around the world.

When?
Sunday, 24th June 2018, 10:00am to 4:00pm

Where?
Queen Heavenly Temple, 20 Joseph Rd, Footscray

There will be:

  • Cultural performances
  • A meditation and mindfulness session
  • A panel discussion on Tibet’s environment and its impact on the global climate
  • A photographic exhibition of Tibetan refugees
  • Creation of a sand mandala
  • Cultural dress and mask exhibition
  • Tibetan food (momo)
