Get tested for COVID-19 if you have cold or flu like symptoms.

Getting tested is the best way to tell if your cold and flu like symptoms are because of COVID-19.

Service details

On 1 July 2022, Victoria’s mass PCR testing program was scaled back.

If you are asymptomatic, you are encouraged to take a Rapid Antigen Test. You can collect free rapid antigen test kits for yourself and anyone else listed on your Medicare card. You can collect them from cohealth Collingwood.

If you have any of the symptoms of COVID-19 you are able to get a PCR test, even if your symptoms are mild.

Symptoms of COVID-19 include:

  • a fever (38c or above)
  • night sweats or chills
  • chest infection
  • sore throat
  • shortness of breath
  • cough
  • runny nose
  • loss of sense of smell or taste
  • headache
  • muscle soreness
  • stuffy nose
  • nausea
  • vomiting.

Walk-ins welcome. You do not need an appointment.

 

 

Fees & eligibility

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms.

Visit the clinic during opening hours to pick up a rapid antigen test or to get a PCR test if you are eligible. You do not need an appointment.

Bring your Medicare card and the details of your usual General Practitioner (GP) and/or GP practice, if you have one. If you don’t have a Medicare card, bring one form of identification such as your driver’s licence or student ID.

Fill the Testing Registration Form to pre-register before your COVID-19 test.

Free. There is no cost for getting a COVID-19 test.
