Immunisations
cohealth nurses provide immunisations for our community. This includes all childhood immunisations, from 6 weeks to 19 years old.
We aim to make immunisation accessible to the whole community. We also specifically target those who are at higher risk of complications from infectious diseases.
This includes offering yearly flu vaccination to members of the community as well as any catch up immunisations you may have missed and outreach vaccination programs. Find out if you are eligible to receive a free flu vaccine at cohealth. Our Community health nurses are also able to provide the most up to date information for vaccination eligibility. Please call your cohealth nurse to find out what you may eligible for.
Wound care
We support clients with wound management ensuring you have access to short-term wound care with follow up from other wound services if required. We can also refer you to multidisciplinary teams for follow up of any other health issues. We aim to provide holistic wound care to all clients that is tailored to individual’s needs.
Medication management
cohealth nurses are highly skilled and support clients in self-medication management through education and support.
We can assist you with managing medication including:
- mental health medication known as depots
- long-acting medications for contraception
- long-acting medications for the management of addiction.
We also provide access to regular medications such as long-acting injectables and review and administer oral medications.
