Recovery support and accommodation for young people with a mental illness. YRR provides a home for young people where they can be themselves and work on their recovery goals in a supported, inclusive environment.
The Youth Residential Recovery (YRR) Program is a mental health program for young people aged between 16 and 25 years. Young people live in a private room, in a shared house for up to 12 months while engaging in mental health support.
YRR welcomes LGBTQIA+ young people. The program is culturally safe and inclusive of First Nations peoples and people of all cultural backgrounds and faiths. It operates as part of cohealth’s Youth outreach recovery support (YORS) service across Melbourne’s North Western suburbs.
