cohealth is a not-for-profit community health organisation that strives to improve health and wellbeing for…
cohealth is committed to providing inclusive, accessible and responsive health and community services that respect all people regardless of gender, sexuality, or intersex status.
We welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, gender diverse, non binary and intersex (LGBTIQA+) people. The cohealth approach to LGBTIQA+ health is underpinned by a human rights framework. We recognise that LGBTIQA+ people face significant barriers accessing health care services and are committed to removing these barriers.
cohealth is dedicated to creating safe and respectful environments for all people accessing our services, including our staff. We value collaboration and feedback from all LGBTIQA+ clients and staff so we can continue to improve our delivery of safe and responsive services and workplaces.
Partnership with Zoe Belle Gender Collective
cohealth is proud of and committed to our partnership with the Zoe Belle Gender Collective (ZBGC), a trans and gender diverse led advocacy organisation. ZBGC provides support and training to organisations and individual practitioners wanting to improve their services to trans and gender diverse people and their families.
Rainbow Tick Accreditation
As part of our commitment to becoming a more LGBTIQA+ inclusive service and workplace, cohealth is working towards a Rainbow Tick Accreditation. The Rainbow Tick Accreditation Program supports organisations to understand and implement LGBTI safe and inclusive service delivery and provides national recognition for those that meet the Rainbow Tick Standards.
