David is an expert in refugee health and chronic disease management. He qualified as a doctor in 1994 from the University of Melbourne and has more than 20 years’ experience.
David has a special interest in health informatics and overseas economic and health development. He volunteers with SpurAfrika (a child development program in Kenya) and an orphanage (providing HIV and disability care) in Xi’an, China.
David is also a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
David enjoys the rewards of sharing a family’s journey and providing guidance in their health choices. A keen photographer, he likes taking nature shots – especially flowers and, if he’s lucky, small critters.
